After receiving your application form, the Admissions Team will promptly confirm receipt and contact you to schedule your child’s entrance assessment. To ensure that our school is the right fit for your child, applicants complete an entrance assessment. Depending on the grade level, this may include subject testing and/or interviews with specialists. Kindergarten: conversation with a psychologist and early years coordinator. Grades 0–2: conversation with a psychologist and primary teacher. Grades 3–11: assessment based on the chosen language of instruction — Russian-taught classes: Russian, English and mathematics; English-taught classes: English and mathematics in English; Kazakh-taught classes: Kazakh, English, and mathematics. Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12): First Language (English, Russian), English as a second language (ESL), Mathematics.
To complete the admissions process, families are asked to provide the required documents for enrolment. This is an important stage in confirming your child’s registration at the school.
Once all documents have been submitted and approved, the final step is to sign the enrolment contract and complete the payment process. Congratulations — your child is officially enrolled at Miras International School!
Welcome to the Miras community. Your child will receive a welcome pack, class assignment, and orientation schedule before the first day of school.
