Miras Scholarship Programme

The Miras Scholarship Programme provides talented and motivated students with the opportunity to receive a 100%, 50%, or 30% tuition scholarship for study at Miras International School Almaty.
About the programme
Established with the support of the Halyk Charity Foundation and NNEF Public Foundation, the programme aims to make high-quality international education more accessible to outstanding students while recognizing academic excellence, leadership potential, creativity, and personal achievement.
Scholarships are available for students applying to Grades 10 and 11, including the IB Diploma Programme.

Recipients of the Miras Scholarship Programme receive:

Who can apply?
Applicants should demonstrate:
The competition is open to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are applying for admission to Grade 10 or Grade 11 at Miras International School.

Selection process
The scholarship competition is held annually between February and June and consists of several stages:
1. Application
February - MarchApplicants submit: Scholarship application form, Academic transcripts and school reports, Certificates, awards, and evidence of achievements, Supporting documents required by the Admissions Office
Scholarship award
Scholarships are awarded competitively based on overall performance throughout the selection process.
Selection criteria
Candidates are assessed using a holistic approach that considers:
- Academic excellence
- Entrance exam results
- Portfolio of achievements
- Motivation and potential for success
- Personal accomplishments and leadership
Where candidates demonstrate comparable results, preference may be given to applicants from socially vulnerable backgrounds and those with outstanding achievements at national or international level.
Annual competition
The Scholarship Programme is offered once each year, with applications typically opening in February and results announced in June. Detailed dates, application requirements, and competition regulations are published annually on the school's website and official social media channels.
