This action was organised by Amaliya Lee, leader of the Charity Committee of the Student Council and a Grade 10 D student.
Every year for Nauryz, we invite children from Orphanage No. 1, the schools for children with vision and hearing impairments and Boarding School No. 2 (for children with cerebral palsy) as our guests. During the celebration, students and parents present gifts collected during the charity week.
Usually these are toys, board games, books and sports equipment. This year, parents and students wanted to continue this tradition, but due to quarantine the gifts were postponed to the summer period.
The Student Council decided to support Anya Ivanova during this difficult time. Our children have known her for over three years. The initiative team prepared an informational video for the school community on this topic.
Caring students and parents gave Anya the joy that everyone awaits in spring, and faith in the future.
Special thanks to the school's PTA committee, chaired by Zhibek Kubasheva, whose family constantly supports Anya, and to all parents of Grade 2A who participated in this action.
The total amount raised was substantial: 303,000 tenge.
