On 6 March, as part of the celebration of International Women's Day, two charity actions were held at our school. The first was a donation of children's items to large and low-income families in Almaty. The second was an exhibition of creative works by Anya Ivanova, a student of Gymnasium No. 60 who has been battling acute myeloblastic leukaemia for several years.
For four years, our school has been providing material support to this brave girl. The school's student council, knowing that Anya draws beautifully and that her collection contains very fine works, suggested holding an exhibition of her creative work. All proceeds from the exhibition went to Anya.
